A dog park would be a wonderful addition to the growing number of recreational points of interest this town has to offer. Also there are many areas and neighborhoods that would benefit from a little ...

A dog park would be a wonderful addition to the growing number of recreational points of interest this town has to offer. Also there are many areas and neighborhoods that would benefit from a little "cleaning up". Areas like the old Holubs greenhouse lot could be put to better use. Pre-existing spaces like the city park-usque Vennard campus would also be an excellent location for a dog park. Anyone else who is interested in this topic or has any good location ideas, please post. -thankx

A dog park would be a wonderful addition to the growing number of recreational points of interest this town has to offer. This commission will act as an advisory board to provide recommendations to City Council on a variety of arts and culture issues impacting the long term quality of life in the Oskaloosa community including: reviewing and directing the development of public art initiatives, act as an advisory board for the arts to the City Council and provide visionary leadership in which to advance arts of all disciplines of the City of Oskaloosa and its citizens.
