Oskaloosa needs to establish a Quality of Life Coalition to identify, advocate, and implement quality of life activities in Oskaloosa. Currently the OACDG oversees this function in the community, however a group not tightly affiliated with business interests, and more in tune with community social well being would be better able to address these issues from a resident standpoint. Questions addressed would be, What are challenges facing Oskaloosa as a community, What would make Oskaloosa a better place to live, How do we make Oskaloosa the premier destination for visitors. What is the identity of Oskaloosa, and what do we want it to be. How do we retain and recruit top notch talent in our community. What makes Oskaoosa special, etc...

Community members could view art, take classes, and rent space/ studio time for their creative endeavors.
