Building & Zoning

NOTICE
Effective September 19, 2023, the City of Oskaloosa has extended land use zoning to all areas within two miles of Oskaloosa's city limits. Review and approval of all new non-agricultural development and property uses is required. Construction building permits are not required within the two-mile area at this time.

Whether you're a property owner, contractor or developer, experienced or brand new to construction, Oskaloosa's Building and Zoning Division is ready to assist you with your project.  If you're unsure, let us know.  We're here to help you succeed, so give us your questions and concerns.  And thank you for helping Oskaloosa grow!
